St. Mary’s High School employs an emergency notification system that can send messages to up to two email addresses and three telephone numbers. It can send text messages to mobile phones as well. This notification system will only be used in the event of a school closing, delay, or other emergency that affects normal operations.
St. Mary's High School parents can now update the email addresses and phone numbers we use for IRIS notifications themselves using the IRIS Online Update system. Since IRIS is a completely independent messaging system, it is not synchronized automatically with any of the other information systems used at St. Mary’s. This means that any changes that you make in the IRIS system do not filter into student records in the school and vice versa. Therefore, if you have any changes to your contact information please notify the school office as well.
There is no cost for enrolling in IRIS. St. Mary’s pays a yearly fee for unlimited notifications through the IRIS system.
St. Mary’s will perform a test of the IRIS system twice per school year.
To log in and update your information go to www.useiris.com.
