GUIDANCE

































































 

The Guidance Department Serves:

  • To help children in relationships with others, in self-understanding, to set goals and develop self-direction to reach those goals

  • To coordinate efforts on behalf of the child among teachers, parents, other school and community personnel

  • To be available for consultations with students, parents and teachers by appointment through the Guidance Office.

  • To facilitate outside referrals when St. Mary's Elementary resources have been exhausted.

  • To implement the Stanford-10 to students in grades 3 through 8.

  • To send transcripts, records and scholarship applications upon request

  • To teach organizational techniques and study skills

  • To maintain a tutor list

The St. Mary's Elementary School Guidance Department Consists Of:

Mrs. Barbara Moulden, Counselor for Grades K-4
Mrs. Diane Garrott, Counselor for Grades 5-8
Mrs. Janice Hubbard, Academic Advisor for Grades 5-8
