We Need Your Talents!
Under the leadership of the Pastoral Council, St. Mary's Parish will be preparing a Long-range Strategic Plan which Father Kingsbury plans to have in place in early 2011. The Steering Committee is seeking parishioners interested in working on the various sub-committees such Spirituality, Community, Communication, and Education, among others. We hope to have the sub-committees give a report of their assessments later this year. Those who are interested should contact Mike Mulhern at mkmulhern@yahoo.com or 410-507-9862.

Listening In
The following New York Times article discusses the relationship between Greg Mortenson, author of the bestselling book Three Cups of Tea, and Admiral Michael Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Mr. Mortenson’s book is required summer reading this year for all St. Mary’s High School students. Admiral Mullen delivered our 2010 commencement address. We’re happy to be listening in on this conversation between two remarkable men.
